Michelle Nguyen and Ashley Gonzalez lead education at PLA, united by a shared belief that the lash industry deserves better products, better science, and better access to the knowledge that truly moves artists forward.

Michelle, CEO and founder of PLA, spent eighteen years as a self-taught lash artist studying eyelash science from the ground up. Frustrated by the gap between what mainstream retailers offered and what artists actually needed, she built PLA from scratch, developing high-performance products and an education standard she could stand behind.

Ashley, PLA’s Education Manager, brings over a decade of experience as both an educator and beauty service provider. She channels that expertise into forward-thinking curriculum designed to support artists at every stage of their careers.

Together, Michelle and Ashley are committed to pulling back the curtain on the science, technique, and honest truths behind modern lashing so artists have the tools and knowledge they need to grow.
